Dann 'the djentle giant' As I said about Denis Shvarts, Malsteem and Satriani are yesterdays stars. I don't like the coldness and super-ego of mechanical guitar heroes, but guitar heroes such as Mendel and Shvarts must be considered as the future of technical progressive. There is not a bad or tepid song in this album, every mesure is heart-felt and contagious. It's a delight. This EP could make every guitarists jealous of Mendel's talent (my comment was previously edited for the 'Subliminal colors' album). Favorite track: Opus.

King Jonas the Humble Technical and inventive, you never get bored with these brutal tracks.
Don't let the oddly cover fool you, this is premium grade technical metal.
Four out of five brutal noodles.

yourmetalfriend Structurally complex, but surprisingly accessible, Mendel's newest EP is a dizzying array of fretboard acrobatics and neck-snapping rhythms. I hate to sound unappreciative, I fucking love this EP, but I get to the end and wish there was more! Favorite track: Shaking Hands With The Devil.
